Los Angeles Painting & Decorative Finishes

Fine painting and plaster finishes for homes that don't get a second coat of ordinary.

We prepare, repair, and finish every surface by hand. Venetian plaster, limewash, antique plaster, faux finishes, and custom decorative work, built for the house in front of us, not a catalog.

Our approach

Exceptional results start with exceptional preparation.

Every surface is inspected, repaired, sanded, primed, and finished according to what the project actually needs, not a standard checklist.

We pay close attention to the parts nobody sees, because those are the parts that decide whether a finish looks ordinary or looks built to last. That's true whether we're floating a wall in Venetian plaster or matching a hundred year old stain on a single door panel.

We work directly with homeowners, and alongside interior designers, contractors, and architects who need a finish crew that can follow a spec and still bring craft to the wall.

What we do

Five finishes, one standard of craft

Each finish is built up by hand, in layers, and matched to the architecture of the room it lives in.

Long plaster corridor finished in a soft, matte, mineral-style texture.

Venetian Plaster

Burnished by hand in thin layers until light moves across the wall instead of just landing on it.

Bedroom finished in a soft, matte white wall treatment.

Limewash

A mineral finish that soaks into the wall and breathes, with the soft variation of old plaster.

Aged brick and timber beam vaulted ceiling.

Antique Plaster

Texture and glaze built in by hand so a new wall reads like it has history behind it.

Bathroom cabinetry hand-glazed to read as natural wood grain.

Faux Finishes

Wood grain on a surface that isn't wood, stone on a wall that isn't stone, built up in careful layers.

Grand staircase foyer with a hand-painted sky mural on the domed ceiling.

Custom Finishes

Murals, lacquer, and one-off design concepts built to match what you actually have in mind.

Who we work with

Homeowners, and the people who design and build for them

H

Homeowners

Direct projects, from a single accent wall to a full interior.

D

Interior Designers

Custom finishes matched to a design concept, sample, or mood board.

C

Contractors

Finish work coordinated around your schedule on new builds and remodels.

A

Architects

Finishes built to suit the architecture, not applied on top of it.

How we work

The process behind every finish

1

Inspect

We walk every surface before we touch it, so we know what we're actually working with.

2

Prepare & Repair

Cracks, patches, and old coatings get addressed first. A finish is only as good as what's underneath it.

3

Sand & Prime

Every surface is sanded and primed to suit the finish going on top of it.

4

Finish

Applied and burnished, glazed, or painted by hand until it matches the room around it.
